Elegant, striking and useful cabinet which functions as storage, sideboard and media unit.
Curved cable cut-outs in the back allow DVD players, games consoles etc. to be fitted inside the cabinet without the need to rewire big British plugs.
To make a classic-looking yet eco-friendly cabinet, pli design has selected a caramel-coloured bamboo veneer with a wheat straw-board core: the natural materials in this cabinet are all from grasses, not wood.
Zero formaldehyde and no-VOC glues, binders and finish throughout. Natural and durable wax coating. Glueless assembly, can be disassembled for recycling and composting. Solid cast aluminium legs and door pulls.

Refinishing: pli recommends periodic re-coating of exposed surfaces with hardwax-oil, wax or similar natural finishes
Disassembly...
The Grass cabinet can be disassembled into all its component parts using a Phillips-head screwdriver. For removals and storage, pli recommends you remove the legs for easy stacking and moving. Do not over-tighten screws when re-assembing - screws should be finger-tight for a good fit but it is possible to ‘strip’ the threads if you use an electric driver with too much power.
Disposal...
This product does not make landfill. All the parts are designed for easy and safe recycling (for metal parts) and energy recovery through incineration or mulching (for natural fibres).
